Check in at Changi International Airport for your flight to Kathmandu. On arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport, meet by our representatives and proceed for a half-day tour of Kathmandu city. Visit Durbar Square, an old palace complex with 50 temples, comprising of the historical Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Kasthamandap Temple (a three-storied temple enshrining the deity of Goraknath), KumariGhar (the temple of the living Goddess) etc. Also visit Bouthanath Temple, one of the largest stupas in the world, where it stands with four pairs of eyes in the four cardinal directions keeping watch for righteous behaviour and human prosperity.

After breakfast, proceed to Chitwan National Park (5-hour drive), a UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site for an enduring safari experience in a world of lush subtropical jungles, tall elephant grass, lakes and rivers. Check in and you will be briefed about the programme for your one night here. After lunch, you can participate in various activities. Take a jaunty ride on elephant back into the jungle for a chance to see wildlife such as the one-horned rhino, deer or even a Bengal tiger in their natural habitat.

Wake up early in the morning for canoeing along the Rapti River. As we float past, watch waterfowl and many other exotic birds along the river. Small crocodiles are often found along the riverbank. Thereafter return to resort for breakfast before proceeding for a 3-hour drive to Lumbini, a UNESCO Cultural World Heritage Site. Lumbini is the birthplace of Lord Siddhartha Gautama Buddha, and where he lived until the age of 29. The Sacred Garden is shaded by the leafy Bo tree (under which Buddha received enlightenment) and marked by the Ashoka stone pillar.

Today proceed for a 6-hour scenic countryside drive towards Pokhara, also known as ‘Jewel of the Himalaya’, blessed with pristine air, serene lake and stunning panoramic views of the Annapurna Range including Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Manaslu and the five peaks of Annapurna. On arrival, rest of the day is free to explore.

Wake up early in the morning for drive to Sarangkot view point, the best spot for sunrise with beautiful view of the Himalayas. Thereafter return to hotel for breakfast and rest. After lunch, set out for half day tour of Pokhara valley, visiting Davi’s fall, Seti Gorge and boating at Phewa Lake.

After breakfast, proceed for a 3-hour tour to the World Peace Pagoda, with short hike up to the Buddhist monument built on a hilltop as a symbol of peace. It offers a panoramic view of the Annapurna range, Pokhara city and Phewa Lake. Return to hotel and the rest of the day is free at your own leisure. You may relax in the cafes doting the main street of Pokhara, or for the adventurous, you may go for optional activities like paragliding, ziplining or cycling along the Pokhara town.

Today we will proceed for a 6-hour drive back to Kathmandu. On arrival, free time at your own leisure.
