Day 1: Singapore – Delhi

SIN/DEL                      9W 17              1940/2300

Check in at Changi International Airport for your flight to New Delhi. Upon arrival you will be met by our friendly representative. Transfer to hotel for overnight.

Day 2: Delhi – Srinagar (B/L/D)

After breakfast transfer to domestic airport for a spectacular mountain flight to Srinagar located on the foot of Himalayan Mountains. On arrival, meet and transfer to deluxe boathouse for overnight. Srinagar, the capital of the state in Jammu and Kashmir, is a crowded and colourful city. The people look different from those in the rest of India. The water world of the Dal and Nagin Lake is amazingly clear and the houseboats have been a part of Kashmir’s aquatic culture for centuries. Late afternoon depart for shikara ride (Gondola of Kashmir) on Dal Lake visiting the Floating Gardens, Lotus and vegetable gardens and backwaters of the lake.

Day 3: Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar (B/L/D)

Today we will proceed to Gulmarg, (Meadows of Flowers) which is one of the premier winter sports resort in Kashmir. At the height of 2591 meters, in winter period it offers a breathtaking view of the snow covered slopes of Alpharwat and Khilanmarg mountains, which provide playgrounds for every type of winter sport such as skiing, tobogganing, skating etc. In summer, you will witness the beauty of natural surroundings of Kashmir set out like doll’s village, en route stopping at villages to witness the country life of the Kashmiris. Take a gondola ride in this beautiful ski resort (optional at own expense).

Day 4: Srinagar (B/L/D)

After breakfast, proceed to visit the gardens built by the Moghuls emperors. NishatBagh and Shalimar Bagh are both well worth visiting to see the mountain spring water flowing over a system of terraces. Lunch at houseboat. Afternoon free at your own leisure.

Day 5: Srinagar – Delhi – Jaipur (B/L/D)

After breakfast, transfer to airport for your flight back to Delhi. On arrival, drive to Jaipur for about 5 hours journey.

Day 6: Jaipur (B/L/D)

After breakfast, proceed for sightseeing tour of Jaipur. Visit the Amber Fort – the Old Capital of Jaipur Rulers by taking an elephant ride. Later visit City Palace, Observatory and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds). Built in 1799, Hawa Mahal was a five-story building which looks out over the main street with its pink, semi octagonal and delicately honey- combed sandstone windows. It was originally built to enable ladies of the royal household to watch the everyday life and processions of the city. Drive through Pink’s City’s Business and residential areas.

Day 7: Jaipur – Agra (B/L/D)

After breakfast drive to Agra for about 5 hours journey. Upon arrival in Agra, check into your hotel, and after lunch, enjoy city tour of Agra which include the world-famous Taj Mahal, one of the Seven Wonders of the World built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jenan in memory of his beloved Queen Mumtaz Mahal. The construction work took 17 years to be completed (1631 – 1648). Later we will visit Itmad-ud-Daulah. Believed by many to be an inspiration and model for the more famous Mausoleum, it is built by Empress Noor Jehan for her father, Mirza Ghiyas Beg, during 1622-1628AD. Complete the tour with a visit to Agra Fort. Built in 1565 by Emperor Akbak, its walls and palaces are silent witness to the rise and fall of the Mughal Empire.

Day 8: Agra – Delhi (B/L/D)

After breakfast, transfer back to Delhi. On arrival proceed for a short tour of Delhi. Visit QutabMinar, photo-stop at India Gate (War memorial), drive past President & Parliament Houses. Also if time permits, drive past Old Delhi Areas, covering Jama Masjid, Red Fort &Rajghat. Enjoy your farewell dinner before returning to airport for flight back to Singapore.

Day 9: Delhi – Singapore

Arrive in Singapore with fond memories of your holiday in India.
