Day 1: Assemble Day

Check in at Changi Airport for flights to Nairobi via Addis Ababa..

Day 2: SINGAPORE – ADDIS ABABA – NAIROBI – SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE (L/D)

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International airport, meet by our local representatives and proceed to Samburu National Reserve. After lunch, enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive. The Samburu region is the best place to find several endemic Northern species; including the Gerenuk (twiga gazelle) due to her long neck, the beisa Oryx, the Reticulated Giraffe, the Somali ostrich and Grevy’s Zebra. Samburu is also an ornithological paradise, home to many birds including local species such as the Palm Nut Vulture and the Vivacious Dove. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 3: SAMBURU NATIONAL RESERVE (B/L/D)

After breakfast, enjoy a full day game viewing in both Samburu and Buffalo Springs game reserves. . Leopards are often seen at dusk. The Samburu culture is a truly fascinating one, sharing a great deal of ancestral and linguistic ties to the Maasai. The entire Samburu region is a place of breathtaking and magical beauty, a place where the vision of a deep red sunset silhouetting the doum palms along the river as a leopard emerges to hunt brings the perfect end to a day on safari. Dinner and overnight at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

Day 4: SAMBURU – MOUNT KENYA NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)

In the morning, we will proceed to the hotel situated in the shadow of Mt Kenya, Kenya’s highest mountain. Then, have lunch at the luxurious Mount Kenya Safari Club, straddled across the equator, located at the foot of the snow covered Mt. Kenya. After lunch, free time at your own leisure. Dinner and overnight at Mountain Lodge or similar.

Day 5: MOUNT KENYA NATIONAL PARK – LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK (B/L/D)

Depart for Lake Nakuru National Park in the morning, with a brief stopover at Thompson’s Falls, named after Joseph Thompson who was the first European to walk from Mombasa to Lake Victoria in the early 1880’s. Lake Nakuru, famous as home to thousands of lesser and greater flamingoes. After lunch, head out for game viewing drive in search of both the black and white rhino, the endangered Rothschild Giraffe (Twiga), the elusive leopard as well as a host of other plains game and with a chance to visit the shores of the lake and walk with millions of flamingos. The landscape includes areas of marsh and grasslands alternating with rocky cliffs and outcrops, stretches of acacia woodland and rocky hillsides covered with a Euphorbia forest (the largest in Africa) on the eastern perimeter. The ecosystem provides for about 56 different species of mammals including the white rhino and buffaloes and a variety of terrestrial birds numbering nearly 450 species. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 6: LAKE NAKURU NATIONAL PARK – MASAI MARA NATIONAL RESERVE (B/L/D)

After breakfast, depart for Masai Mara National Reserve that offers wonderful scenery and plenty of game. It is perhaps the only region left in Kenya where the visitor may see animals in the same super-abundance as existed a century ago. After lunch at the lodge, game viewing drive in this vast and expansive reserve teeming with game. Be on the look-out for the famous big five; the most sought after in the early 20th century, when Kenya was a hunters’ paradise. These include the lion, Cape buffalo, the savannah elephant, black rhino and the elusive leopard. The vast savannah grasslands stretch as far as the eye can see is home to impalas, masai giraffes, waterbucks, warthogs, thompson & grant’s gazelles, topis, the resident wildebeests among many others. Dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge or similar.

Day 7: MASAI MARA (B/L/D)

This morning proceed on a full day of game viewing drives & adventure. Be on the look-out for the big five that Maasai Mara is famous for. These include the lion, savannah (African) elephant, the Cape buffalo, the leopard and the black rhino. We may even be so lucky to witness a leopard or a cheetah sprint and make a kill! Return back to the camp for dinner and overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge.

Day 8: MASAI MARA – NAIROBI – ADDIS ABABA – SINGAPORE (B)

After breakfast, proceed back to Nairobi, Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for you flight back to Singapore.

Day 9: SINGAPORE

Arrive home in Singapore with wonderful memories of your safari adventure in Kenya.
