Day 1: Singapore – Guwahati (Assam) – Shillong (Meghalaya) (L/D)

Depart for Guwahati, the capital city of Assam on Druk Air. On arrival you will be met by our representative and proceed to visit the famous KamakhyaTemple, one of the oldest temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhya and Nabagraha Temple or temple of nine planets which is a seat of astrological studies. Thereafter proceed to Shillong for approximately 3 hours drive. Shillong is a hill station and capital city of Meghalaya which means ‘The Abode of Clouds”.Enroute, stop at UmiamLake or BarapaniLake to enjoy the panoramic views of the misty hills and lake in between. Thereafter proceed to Shillong for dinner and overnight.


Day 2: Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong (B/L/D)

After breakfast, drive to Cherrapunjeefor approximately 2 hours drive, world renowned for being once the rainiest place on earth. Cherrapunjee or Sohra has many beautiful waterfalls and caves. On the way, visit Elephant Fallsas well asNohsngithiang Falls, Nohkailikai Falls as well as explore Mawsmai caves. Dinner and overnight at hotel.


Day 3: Shillong – Dawki – Mawlynnong – Shillong (B/L/D)

After breakfast drive to Dawkifor approximately 4 hours. Dawki is a border town on the Indian side of the Indo – Bangladesh border. Just near the Tamabil-Dawki check post flows the beautiful Dawki river or Umngot river with turquoise blue water so clear that one can see the bottom of the river. Enjoy activities in Dawki like boating, canoeing (optional).Thereafter drive for an hour to Mawlynnong, one of the cleanest villages in Asia. This village borders Bangladesh and you can have a great view of the plains of Bangladesh from here. Trek to the living Root Bridge which is a real delight to see. Walk to the Bangladesh view point, explore the village while you interact with the locals.Later drive for approximately 3 hours back to Shillong. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 4: Shillong – Kaziranga National Park (B/L/D)

After breakfast proceed for drive back to the state of Assam and to Kaziranga National Park proceed for approximately 7 hours, a world heritage site and famous for the one horned Rhino. On arrival, check-in resort for dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Kaziranga National Park (B/L/D)

Rise very early in the morning for an exciting elephant ride. Enjoy the ride through the Park for an hour to appreciate the famous one horned rhino, wild elephant, Eastern Swamp Deer and many more. Return to hotel for breakfast follow by visit to a nearby village to see the lifestyle and culture of the local people. Afternoon proceed a Jeep safari inside the Central range of the park. This drive is an ideal introduction to the park and its ecology as the route passes through the entire spectrum of habitat types prevalent in the area. There is a possibility of sighting elephants as well as the other Mega herbivores, Swamp deer etc. Dinner and overnight at the resort.


Day 6: Kaziranga National Park – Guwahati (B/L/D)

After breakfast drive back to Guwahati for approximately 5 hours. On arrival, check in hotel. Afternoon proceed to visit the Umananda Temple, a Shiva Temple located at the Peacock Island in the middle of River Brahmaputra follow by visiting of local market in the evening. Dinner and overnight at hotel.


Day 7: Guwahati – Depart (B)

After an early breakfast, proceed for transfer to airport for your flight back to Singapore.
