Upon arrival, transfer to restaurant for lunch. Visit St. Sophia Cathedral and Monastery Complex, a real pearl of the world architecture and view the largest frescoes and mosaics collection in the world. Next, visit St. Andrew’s Church, the Ukrainian Baroque church designed in 1754 by the Italian architect Bartolomeo Rastrelli. The Golden Gates of Kiev is a major landmark of the Ancient Kiev and historic gateway in the ancient city fortress, located in the capital of Ukraine and currently serves as a museum.
After breakfast, visit Mezhygirya – the former residence of ex-President Victor Yanukovich who rented that area from 2002 till 2014, which is a huge and luxury complex and park. View the Honka club house (big wooden cottage), “Galleon” barge restaurant, private zoo, canine centre, undeground sport complex, golf club, helipad, lots of monuments and nice pavilions and gardens. Next, visit to the golden-domed Kyiv-PecherskLavra Monastery, the most famous sight-seeing attraction in Kiev, which has been included into the UNESCO World Heritage Register. This twenty-eight hector functioning monastery contains caves, numerous churches, towers, a printing works, miles of maze like underground tunnels containing numerous churches and some of Kiev’s riches museums. From the walking distance from Lavra you can see famous Museum of the Great Patriotic War that is a memorial complex commemorating the German-Soviet War.
In the morning, depart to Odessa by coach (500km). On the way, get to visit the Strategic Missile Force Museum. During the Cold War, 176 nuclear missile launching silos were located at missile bases across Ukraine. Following the collapse of the Soviet Union, under the ‘Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty’ (START) agreement with the USA, they were all demolished, except one. That one remaining complex was turned into the ‘Museum of Strategic Missile Troops’ (aka the ‘Nuclear Missile Museum’). During the tour, take an underground corridor to the massive doors which lead to a self-contained silo-based 12-storey Command Post which could function sealed from the outside world for 45 days. Sit in the Command seat and experience what Soviet officers could feel during the Cold War and being in charge of nine missiles SS-22. Upon arrival, check in hotel for some rest.
After breakfast, embark on a Odessa city tour. Today you will be introduced to the largest seaport on the Black Sea and the third largest city in Ukraine. Morning tour will include the Prymorski Boulevard and legendary Potemkin Staircase leading to the sea, the famous Opera and Ballet Theater, Troyitska and St. Paul Churches and the Art Museum. After lunch, tour “The Mysteries of the Odessa Catacombs”. Odessa was built on the coquina stones that had been mined out of the ground. That is why the long labyrinths spread under the city. Please do bring some warm clothes to the underground tour, as the temperature will be around 10 to 12 degrees.
After breakfast, enjoy a full day tour to Belgorod-Dnestrovskyi Fortress. It is the biggest fortress in the country, and a unique monument to the defensive architecture of the 13th -15th centuries. Despite its ‘venerable’ age and the historical events to which it was a first-hand witness, the fortress managed to preserve its original structure, and today it is considered to be the best preserved medieval fortification facility in Ukraine. After the tour, transfer back to Odessa.
After breakfast, transfer to Chișinău. On the way to Chisinau we make a tour to the town of Bendery, which has been the site of a fortress commanding the Dneister crossings since the second century BC. Continue the journey to the valley of the Dniester River with its orchards and vineyards. Our destination is Tiraspol, founded as a stronghold by General Suvorov in 1792, but named after the ancient Greek colony of Tiras. Next, proceed to Castel MIMI winery for wine tasting and dinner.
After breakfast we go on a city tour of Chisinau. Visit the Memorial Eternity, the Memorial Complex of Afghanistan and ValeaMorilor Park. After lunch Visit to Capriana and Churchi monastery, Then, walk to the centre of the city and visit the Chisinau City Hall, the Triumph Arch, park of Stefan cel Mare, Alley of the Classicists, National Assembly, Central Post Office, Organ Hall and Mihai Eminescu National Theater, souvenir market and others. Finish the city tour with an excursion to the National Museum of Ethnography.
This morning, embark on an excursion to Old Orhei including visit to the Museum of traditional life of Moldavian farmers in Butuceni village. Among Moldova’s greatest wonders are its monasteries, and we visit the most famous, the cave monastery in OrheiVechi. This 13th century church of OrheuilVechi was excavated from a limestone cliff by Orthodox Christian monks who believed the cave would be resilient against invaders. In the afternoon, a visit to Moldova would not be complete without a trip to the Moldovan wine country. We visit Cricova, the world’s largest wine cellar.

After breakfast, enjoy some free time for some last minute shopping. In the afternoon, transfer to airport for flight back to Singapore via Warsaw.
