Day 1: Singapore – Istanbul

Assemble at Changi Airport for the flight to Istanbul on board Turkish Airlines.


Day 2: Istanbul – Porto (L/D)

Transfer flight from Istanbul to Porto. Upon arrival at Porto, enjoy a panoramic tour around the city. Visit the Porto Cathedral – the most important religious edifice in the city and has been declared a National Monument. The construction of the Cathedral began during the 12th century, but it was rebuilt and renovated numerous times throughout the centuries. The temple is predominantly Baroque in style, although its façade and the nave are Romanesque and its cloister and one of the chapels are Gothic in style. Afterwards, visit the Palácio da Bolsa (Stock Exchange Palace), a neoclassical style building that is situated in the center of the city and currently, is the headquarters of the Porto’s Commercial Association. After the city tour, transfer to the hotel for check in.


Day 3: Porto – Guimaraes – Braga – Porto (B/L/D)

Today depart for Guimaraes, a city which proudly bears the title of cradle of nation. This city has preserved from its past a prestigious air of old nobility, with its majestic facades. Then depart to Braga and visit the historical, economic, academic and religious capital of the Minho region. Surrounded by hills, Braga is often nicknamed “The Portuguese Rome”. The Rome Empire lived there as well as the Italian Renaissance. Passage through the Church of Bom Jesus do Monte, Rocco style church and the Sanctuary of NossaSenhora do Sameiro.


Day 4: Porto (B/L/D)

Porto is a city located in a beautiful amphitheater on the banks of the Douro River. Discovery of one of the most sumptuous and traditional cafes of Porto, more than a coffee, The Majestic tells the story of the twenties of Porto. Then walk on the typical street of Santa Catarina that will take you to the central station known for its 20,000 tiles. Passage through the ex-libris of the city: the Clérigos tower, the Lello bookstore – one of the world’s oldest bookstores, frequently ranked as one of the most beautiful bookstores in the world and it was a direct inspiration for J.K. Rowling and her Harry Potter books and the typical walk of Bolhao. Visit the most famous old district of old Porto – Ribeira. Cross the bridge to Vila Nova de Gaia and visit one of the famous wine cellars of Porto, of course with tasting of this precious nectar. Depart for a small cruise of about 1 hour that will give you a different look of the city.


Day 5: Porto – Aveiro – Coimbra – Center Region (B/L/D)

Depart for Aveiro, to visit the “Portuguese Venice” – a beautiful city, surrounded by beaches and lagoons, dominated by the Central Canal running through the town. You’ll walk in the historic center to discover the covered markets and its beautiful houses. Then, enjoy a boat trip in a traditional Moliceiro boat on the river with a taste of “Ovos Moles” a typical pastry of the region, inherited from the traditions of the female convent of Aveiro. After that, depart to the city that is established in the banks of the Mondego – Coimbra. The origins of this city date back to Roman times. Then, visit to the Joanina Library (interior) – this is considered as one of the most beautiful places due to its unique style.


Day 6: Center Region – Batalha – Nazaré – Óbidos – Lisbon (B/L/D)

Today depart for Batalha and visit the Monastery of Santa Maria da Vitoris. It is a magnificent building, one of the finest monuments of Manueline Gothic style in Europe. Then, depart for the picturesque beach of Nazaré. With a pleasant climate and natural beauty, this beach has the oldest traditions concerning the fishing arts (ascent by its famous funicular). Afterward, we will depart for Óbidos and visit this medieval city to discover the charming paved streets lined with white houses nestled against each other. You’ll see the ramparts (outside) dating from the Moors occupied by the dungeon and the high towers of the castle. Afterwards, visit the Castle (exterior) with its façade pierced with Manueline geminate windows with twisted columns and a Manueline portal surmounted by two armillary spheres.


Day 7: Lisbon – Sintra – Cabo da Roca – Cascais – Estoril – Lisbon (B/L/D)

In the morning, depart for Sintra, the city of lush natural beauty and favourite residence of the sovereigns who built beautiful palaces there. Visit the National Palace, which is an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit Cabo da Roca, which is the most western point of Europe. From the top of its 145m cliff, you’ll be facing the Atlantic Ocean. At the end of the day, you’ll be passing by the famous seaside resorts of Cascais and Estoril, which is favoured by the brightness and the softness of their climate.


Day 8: Lisbon (B/L/D)

Today depart for the visit of Lisbon, a hymn to colour, remarkably set on seven hills at the mouth of the Tagus, this city is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful capitals of Europe. Discover the Belém district, whose numerous and prestigious monuments recall the century of great maritime discoveries – the Monument of the Discoveries (exterior), the elegant Tower of Belém (exterior) which is built in the 15th century on the Tagus River and the Jerónimos Monastery. Taste the famous Pastel de Belém, which is one of the 7 gastronomic wonders of Portugal, in a typical pastry of this district. In the afternoon, discover the Belvedere of Santa Luzia which is one of the most beautiful panoramas on Lisbon. Then, continue to visit Rossio and the Commerce Square. Afterwards, enjoy free time for shopping.


Day 9: Lisbon – Istanbul (B)

There will be free time for last minute shopping. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Istanbul.


Day 10: Istanbul – Singapore

Transfer from Istanbul to Singapore. Arrived Singapore in the afternoon, with fond memories of a wonderful Portugal tour.
