Day 1: Singapore – Guwahati (L/D)

Depart for Guwahati, the capital city of Assam on Druk Air. On arrival you will be met by our representative and transfer to the hotel. Guwahati is the major commercial city of Northeast India and a historic city too. Visit famous KamakhyaTemple, one of the oldest temple dedicated to the mother goddess Kamakhyaand Nabagraha Temple or temple of nine planets which is a seat of astrological studies. Also see the Assam state museum (Monday closed). Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 2: Guwahati – Tezpur (B/L/D)

After breakfastdrive to the ancient city of Tezpurfor approximately 5 hours. Tezpur is a very old historic town of Assam. Historical ruins of 8th-9th century dot the surrounding areas of the town. The ruins of Bamuni Hills among them are the most famous. Accordingly there are plenty of myths as well. The ruins of Da Parbatia is a shining example of the architecture around the 4th Century AD. On arrival, check-in hotel. In the afternoon, visit Agnigarh, MahabhairabTemple and ChitralekhaUdyan, a beautiful park located amidst hillocks and green terrains in Tezpur.Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 3: Tezpur – Dirang (B/L/D)

After breakfast drive toDirang in Arunachal Pradesh for approximately 7 hours. On the way, visit the Orchid Park at Tipi.On arrival, check in hotel and in the afternoon we shall visit the Buddhist Kalachakra Monastery (if time permits). Architecture is very muchsimilar to Tibetan monasteries. Monpas are the major tribe of this area. Dinner and overnight in hotel.


Day 4: Dirang – Tawang (B/L/D)

Today we shall drive to Tawang for approximately 7 hours. The drive will pass through the beautiful valley of Dirang crossing Sela Pass at 4,175m, the highest motorable road in North East India. Enroute bubbling rivers and colourful tribes will great you along the way. On arrival, check in hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day 5: Tawang (B/L/D)

We shall spend a full day to explore the Himalayan town ofTawang (2,669m). Visit the Tawang Monastery, also known as “GaldenNamgyalLhatse” was founded by Merak Lama LodreGyamtso in the year 1860-61 AD. It offers an imposing and picturesque view of the Chu valley. The monastery appears like a fort from a distance, as if guarding the beautiful valley below. It is the largest of its kind in the country and 2nd largest in Asia and has the capacity for housing about 700 monks. Thereafter, visit the Buddha Statue follow by visiting UrgellingMonastary which is also associated with the birth of the 6th Dalai Lama. Also visit AniGompa located 12km from Tawang, a place for Buddhist nuns since 1595 AD. In the afternoon visit the war memorial and enjoy the sound and light show before returning to hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day 6: Tawang – Bomdila (B/L/D)

After breakfast drive for approximately 8 hours to Bomdila, the headquarter of the West Kameng district in Arunachal Pradesh. This lofty paradise is snow clad for a major part of the year and makes a delightful destination to get away to in summer. On arrival, check-in hotel for dinner and overnight.


Day 7: Bomdila – Kaziranga (B/L/D)

Today we shall cross border back to Assam and continue with our journey to Kaziranga National Park for approximately 7 hours drive. Kaziranga National Park is a world heritage site and famous for the one-horned Rhino. On arrival, check-in at the resort for dinner and overnight.


Day 8: Kaziranga National Park (B/L/D)

Get up very early in the morning for an exciting elephant ride. Enjoy the ride through the Park for an hour to appreciate the famous one horned rhino, wild elephant, Eastern Swamp Deer and many more. After breakfast visit a nearby village to see the lifestyle and culture of the local people. Afternoon go on a Jeep safari inside the Central range of the park. This drive is an ideal introduction to the park and its ecology as the route passes through the entire spectrum of habitat types prevalent in the area. There is a possibility of sighting elephants as well as the other Mega herbivores, Swamp deer etc.


Day 9: Kaziranga – Guwahati (B/L/D)

After breakfast return to Guwahati for approximately 5 hours of drive. On arrival, check in at the hotel. In the afternoon visit the Nabagraha Temple (Temple of Nine Planets) and SrimantaShankardevKalashetra. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.


Day 10: Guwahati – Singapore (B)
